A cut above any others...

Oxendon House is a warm and friendly environment with all residents extremely well cared for. Management and staff are always friendly and seem to find that nothing is too much trouble for them. I've always been made to feel very welcome every time I've visited. I would highly recommend this home, it's a cut above any others I've seen.

Nothing was too much trouble...

Oxendon House: I found the manager and her staff to be very warm and caring. The residents seem to be extremely happy and incredibly well cared for. The whole atmosphere was uplifting and nothing was too much trouble. On the whole, it was a worthwhile visit.

I'm thoroughly satisfied...

My husband has been a resident at Oxendon House for nearly 12 months and I am thoroughly satisfied with the care and attention that has been provided by all the staff during this time. All the staff greet you with a smile whenever visiting and the atmosphere in the home under the present manager is cheerful, friendly, homely yet efficient.

I don't think I can add anything other than to say I am very pleased that we chose Oxendon House as a home for my husband now that I can no longer look after him.

Friendly and helpful staff...

The home was able to provide convalescence care at short notice. The room was new and well equipped, the bathroom was disability friendly. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The food was standard but a good choice each day. The manager is new to the role but the home appeared to be well run. We would definitely return in the future should further care be required.

Home style cooking

Everyone here seems really friendly and welcoming. My friend always seems really happy when I visit. They have started to eat well again as they really enjoy the food, it's nice to see that it's all home style cooking. The new rooms look fantastic.

Made to feel so special...

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Oxendon House for the care and love you gave to my friend.

From the moment she arrived she was made to feel so special and everyone made great efforts to get to know her and I will be eternally grateful that she spent her last days among such caring and professional people.

My visits were always welcomed and the staff were always courteous and ready to assist with any issues that I might have, the home is run as a family environment so I found it easy to visit.

The home is excellent, clean and well run and I would recommend it to anyone who has a relative with dementia.

Mum loves it here...

My mother was accepted at Oxendon House after an extreme crisis period and hospital care for 4.5 months. I was distraught at the thought of putting my vibrant, self assured mother into a home. I needn't have worried. Mum's health and mental capacity have improved dramatically since moving in.

The care and respect she receives is second to none. All staff care about her, and for her, nothing is too much trouble.

Mum absolutely loves it here, something I never thought she would accept. She loves the food, adores her room and most of all has the freedom to be involved with little household activities which remind her of her independent days.
